Neene Maataraa
Early Life
Neene Maataraa Herritage is Labe. Her father Abdoul Aziz and mother Mariama Dalanda are both deeply rooted in Labe from the lineage of Chaldean/chaldeanco/chaldeancobe right there in the city, mosquée. Her parents moved to the village Choory leyi-salor insearch of greener lands for their cattles(Listen to Audio ).
Neene Maataraa has three sisters, of the same mother but different fathers. there was a time when her father had only her and her sister named Suwadou Jonga before her father left her mother and went to Senegal where he maried and got two more children(reference).
When her father left her and her mother to go to Senegal Neene Maataraa was in her mothers womb as well as her half sister Suwadou Jonga where both not born yet. After Neene Maataraa was born her mother Mariama Dalanda who is from Fisiria went and got married again and got three more girls to make Neene Maataraa one among four sisters in total of the same mother but different fathers(reference).
Soon after Neene Maataraa's mother also passed away leaving her and all her four sisters as young kids. When their mother Mariama Dalandapassed away in Fisiria Every father was told to come get their child since Neene Maataraa's Dad was not around(was in senegal) her a dads aunty who is her grandma named Suwadoutook her and brought her to Choory(reference)
Neene Maataraa did not stay with her mother long and she don't know her Dad Because her Dad left for Senegal when she was not yet born and he never came back. Neene maataraa's dad Abdoul Aziz went to Senegal resettle there, got married there again and got two more children a boy and a girl. So she basically only know her Grandma well who is her Father's Aunty who raised her soon after her Mother's death was the time her Dads brother came to pick her up and took her back to Choory to her Grandma to raise her. Neene Maataraa didnt give hope on reuniting with her dad until she heard of him passing away at the time she had her daughter MariamaOury( reference).
Marriage and Family
Neene Maatara got married to Mammadou Alpha in a village called Maataraa and together they have Eight children but two of them(Pateh and Mariamaoury) died at childhood(Listen to Audio) , leaving her with six kids namely Amadou Oury, Abdul Aziz, Isatou, Ousman, Fatoumatta, and Mammadou. Over the years, Neene Maataraa have been blessed with alot of grandchildren who brought joy and happiness to her live.
Personal Interests
Aside from her wife duties, and Pastoral Farming,Neene Maataraa has a variety of personal interests and hobbies. She enjoys playing with her grandchildren when ever they visited her in the village. She would teach them how to speak fluent pularr, and milk some cows for fresh milk which provide her with relaxation and fulfillment outside of her work and family commitments.
